Subject: Dickens biography

Many thanks to all those who posted or e-mailed me with suggestions and
comments about the 'best' Dickens biography.

Recommendations were about evenly split on Forster, Johnson (the long
version), Ackroyd and Kaplan - each has good and bad points.

Looks like another expensive trip to the book store.<g>
