Friends of the Dickens Forum,

Herb Moscovitz has forwarded the following announcement to us.
We, too, have wished to have an index to *The Dickensian* and a way of
accessing past issues. (pjm)

                           THE DICKENSIAN ONLINE

THE DICKENSIAN journal is a wonderful resource. From its first
appearance in 1905 it has had the role of the ‚~@~Xjournal of
record‚~@~Y of the activities of the Dickens Fellowship, and has also
published a wide range of essays and reviews. The evolution of the
journal reflects the development of Dickensian scholarship during
more than a century of social change.

EARLY COPIES OF THE DICKENSIAN HAVE BEEN DIFFICULT TO ACCESS, BUT NOW
THE ARCHIVE OF THE DICKENSIAN FROM 1905-2000 IS AVAILABLE ONLINE.
ONLINE ACCESS IS FREE TO ALL CURRENT INDIVIDUAL SUBSCRIBERS TO THE
DICKENSIAN.

Issues of The Dickensian 1905-2000 are accessible immediately on
ProQuest‚~@~Ys Periodical Archive Online (PAO.) Issues for the years
2001 onwards will be published on ProQuest‚~@~Ys Literature Online
(LION) in due course. (The latest online issues of the journal will
always be two years behind the current hard-copy issue of the
journal.)

If you are currently an individual subscriber to The Dickensian and
wish to access the archive, please contact Geoff Dicks for
