In response to inquiries, here is some preliminary
information about the Dickens Universe of 1995.  The dates
are July 30 to August 5.  As those who have attended in the
past recall, the Universe segment of the meeting overlaps
the scholarly conference which begins on August 3.

        For the first time there is double selection of
books for the week: GREAT EXPECTATIONS AND JANE EYRE.

        An announcement of the scholarly conference will
follow in another posting.
